Who We Are
Messengers is a community of dedicated volunteers, generous supporters, and faithful servants — coming together to touch the lives of the vulnerable, the brokenhearted, and the captive. We are not merely an organisation; we are a family.
Each day we are inspired by those whose lives we are blessed to touch — whether struggling orphans, isolated elderly, or people searching for freedom and hope.

The annual choir festival runs over three days with all schools competing. We volunteer in shifts at the stalls:

Our Mandate
Our Scriptural Foundation
The mighty Spirit of Lord Yahweh is wrapped around me because Yahweh has anointed me, as a Messenger to preach good news to the poor. He sent me to heal the wounds of the brokenhearted, to tell captives, “You are free,” and to tell prisoners, “Be free from your darkness.”
I am sent to announce a new season of Yahweh’s grace and a time of God’s recompense on his enemies, to comfort all who are in sorrow, to strengthen those crushed by despair who mourn —
— to give them a beautiful bouquet in the place of ashes, the oil of bliss instead of tears, and the mantle of joyous praise instead of the spirit of heaviness. Because of this, they will be known as Mighty Oaks of Righteousness, planted by Yahweh as a living display of His glory.
Our Leadership
Celeste brings heart and dedication to the Messengers family, serving alongside the team to carry love, hope, and healing to those who need it most — walking faithfully in the calling of Isaiah 61.
Werner oversees corporate governance, funding coordination, and operational excellence. He brings a spirit of teamwork and perseverance to everything he does — values equally at home on the padel court.
Nicola believes it is her calling to be a blessing to others. She sees Messengers as the hands and feet of Jesus — carrying love, hope, and healing to the broken, the poor, and the vulnerable.
Marli is committed to journeying alongside those in need — offering not just temporary relief, but lasting hope through the truth of the Gospel. Her heart is to see lives transformed by His grace.
